My Stand On Michael Jackson

I am against child abuse. However, I am FOR rock & roll. I am FOR Thriller but against BAD. And I am definitely against Michael putting jam on it.

Child abuse should be stomped out wherever it is sniffed, because its consequences burn through generations like a brushfire. When a child abuser was discovered in my extended family, no one talked about pressing charges. The abuse took place decades before. So what? He didn't even have to face the humiliation that Jacko faced. He lost the love of some of his family, but not all of it. I'd love to see him on trial. I'd love to see him in jail.

I don't know what Jacko is guilty of, but I do know that child abuse can only exist with the help of its stepsister: denial. And Jacko drips with denial. Did you see how adamantly and sincerely he insisted to his TV interviewer that he had never had any plastic surgery? That's the kind of bald delusion that allows a man to abuse his nieces and grandnieces for years.
